Here's a taste of what you can expect. I have edited some of the content to correct for jet lag and sleep deprivation - and to give you some background on some of his "inside humor"...One thing I didn't know about Gord is that he's afraid of flying over water! I guess all those trips we've been on together have been (mostly) over land. (Ed)

I am pretty excited about going over there especially the plane ride - not! Flying on a 747 is new for me, so that is going to be cool, but the 7 hours and 50 miniutes is going to be painful. I know Ross will say "try flying 13 hours with the death flu" right? Ross went to China last winter to coach. He got really sick while he was there and it took him a while to get better. Fortunately not SARS or bird flu or anything....(Ed) 

Sitting here looking at the plane through the gate window I have no idea how this thing will fly - it's huge. I am going to be conquering one of my fears in life and that is flying over the ocean. Seeing that I can't swim - this thing better stay up in the air! I have always thought about the flight over water and it has always made me nervous. Right. Like you're going to swim away from a crash in the water... Don't worry buddy, swimming won't help you. "In the event of a Water Landing...." Ha! Who needs life jackets. (Ed)
